Tuesday Night Mixed League!
The league was started by Mavis & Alan Quaile in 1996 and has had an average of 19 two golfer teams during its 19 year history. The philosophy of the league is to encourage golfers to bring their "good or not so good" partner out for an informal game of golf, playing alternate shots. There is a mix of skill levels, but even the pros have the patience to play with newcomers to the sport or those trying to improve their game. The main point of the league is to have fun. The league plays nine holes and alternates front nine one week, then the back nine the next week. A points system is used, and copies will be available at the open house on April 25, 2015.
After the game most teams gather in the clubhouse for dinner and discuss either the successes (or more often, failures!) of the previous round. If you are interested in making some new friends, feel free to join the Tuesday Night Mixed League. The first tournament night will be Tuesday May 19 at 4:30pm.
